MCFI attends inaugural ACSI Chinese Business Proficiency Series event in Indianapolis

     On Thursday, October 13th, Chuck Summers, Director of Investor Services, attended the first of six events in the Chinese Business Proficiency Series hosted on by the American Chinese Society of Indiana, held at the law offices of Bingham McHale in downtown Indianapolis. Dr. Weilin Long, Director of the Asian Learning Center of Indiana, was the keynote speaker and gave her presentation on “Making Powerful Impressions”, discussing the facets of business and culture in China. Mr. Jeff Patchen, CEO of the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis also spoke about the museum’s archeological relationship with China and Mr. Darren Reese, Director of Development for the City of Marion, Indiana, discussed how their small town of 30,000 is welcoming Chinese business into their community.
